I’ve been trying to crack my own WEP for awhile but every time i run Whax 3.0 (livecd) and use the airmon.sh command it returns no results, like if i didn’t have a wireless card, i’m using broadcom 802.11b/g, but i also have a netgear usb wireless adaptor wg111 802.11b/g, what should i do to [...]
besides…..aircrack??????? which only works well w/t linux..and I believe my NIC card is broadcom which isn’t compatible….does Backtrack 1-4 any good…and I don’t really know what I am doing
For legality purposes, the WEP key I am trying to crack is that of my own wireless network, not because I’ve forgotten it, but just to see if I can do it.
I’m booted into BackTrack 3 on a live CD.
